Leg exercises are great to add to your workout, did you know that around 60% of the muscles in your body are in your legs? Exercising leg muscles in intervals and with intensity is a great way to burn body fat and will also help you strengthen your legs for cardio activities such as running, cycling, sprinting and more. An added bonus is that once you’re comfortable with these exercises, they can be done in the comfort of your home, meaning its possible to cut down time spent at the gym.

Challenge: Once you’re performing the exercises in the video above, try doing squats whilst using barbells. This should provide you with a short but effective workout, activating many muscle groups in your body, meaning you can cut down the time it takes to do a full body workout.
