I find that the head bands tend to slide off my head if I wear them too far back as in the picture. I have to wear them really close to my forehead but otherwise they're great and keep my hair back.

Was concerned when purchasing this item that the bands would be quite tight around your head or restrictive, but they are brilliant, soft and confortable, and you get several colours in the set for your money. Better in many ways than a sweat band as they are less restrictive. Very impressed!
